As a dedicated and experienced professional, Nan Maddox brings over 40 years of medical business acumen to our Shorr Solutions practice management team. She devoted 21 years of her life to serving in the United States Air Force, specializing in medical administration, ultimately retiring as a Chief Master Sergeant…the top 1% and the highest enlisted rank. Following her military career, Nan pursued a passion for aesthetics and became a licensed aesthetician, electrologist, laser technician, and permanent makeup technician.
Nan took that training and expertise, and for 13 years, owned and operated her own successful medical spa in the Florida panhandle before selling it in 2018. She then transitioned to a role as the practice manager for a boutique plastic surgery practice in St Petersburg, Fl. Following that, she relocated to take the position as Practice Administrator for a multimillion-dollar plastic surgery practice in the southwest, where she managed the day-to-day operations of up to 30 employees for the medical practice, medical spa, and a 2-OR accredited surgical suite, all the while ensuring the highest level of patient care.
Outside of Nan’s professional life, she is a mother of three children, four beautiful grandchildren and a devoted dog mom. She loves listening to live music, dancing, and most especially traveling anytime, and anywhere! Despite her love of travel and her successful career in the medical and aesthetic field, Nan remains a country girl at heart, cherishing the simple pleasures of life on the farm.
