Safety in the Medical Workplace

First, Let’s start this blog post with some background information. Indeed, Our founder, Jay Shorr started his career in medicine as a paramedic in Pennsylvania. Jay left the field for several years before returning to medicine. In the meantime, he spent a decade and a half with Ryder Truck Rental instructing employees and drivers as their national safety manager.

Truly, safety is a passion for us. We always relay that to our clients.

Previously, Jay co-wrote a piece two years ago about this topic in Medical Economics. Medical Economics covered everything from why an initial economic reason is necessary to motivate staff to how a lack of a focus on safety can be financially harmful to your practice.
