In essence, our latest series requires a bit of special attention: This is a three-part feature on theft prevention in Plastic Surgery Practice. The topic stems from a lecture given by Jay Shorr on that same topic at the 2013 American Academy of Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery in New Orleans. That’s where we were able to reconnect with the magazine’s editor, Denise Mann. As a result, Denise was so impressed with the topic that we devoted three months to it and taught physicians on how theft can infiltrate their medical practices in ways both large and small.
