But before they can get started, there is an important checklist of items you, as a practice owner or administrator, have to make sure are completed before your new provider can shine and fully contribute to your practice.
Your new provider must understand the regulations of the state you are practicing in because not all states are the same, and there must also be a plan in place to effectively train and promote them. The promotion plan should include creating awareness of who they are and what they do, how your front desk will answer the phone and credential/inform patients about them, how consults will be handled, your target booking ratio, and more.
