It is with heavy hearts, yet tears of joy, that we share our beloved partner and daughter of our famous father-daughter duo, Mara Shorr, has transitioned from owning our company as of January 27, 2023.
“Being able to partner with my father, Jay Shorr, one of the best mentors I could have asked for, is an opportunity I will never take for granted. I will always wish him, as well as the team at Shorr Solutions, all of the best as I depart from the operations of the company this Friday, January 27, 2023. I’ll be shifting roles into another industry position in the near future.”, Mara recently wrote to our valued clients in her departure message.
We are FOREVER grateful for Mara’s time building Shorr Solutions alongside her father and our now CEO and Founder, Jay Shorr! Mara played a crucial AND integral role in why our startup became the industry leader we are today! As you may already know, Jay began our company in 2011 as a side hustle when his late wife, and medical director of their multi-million dollar cosmetic dermatology and plastic surgery practice, passed away from stage 4 cancer. During that time, Mara jumped in and help her dad through his grief, both personally and professionally. The rest became history and Shorr Solutions is now the national and award-winning practice management consulting company you trust, know and love!
